Discussion Forum Participation Guidelines 1

Participation in the discussion forums is critical for maximizing your learning experiences in this course. You are required to be a part of an online community of learners who collectively interact, through discussion, to enhance and support the learning of each other. Part of the assessment criteria for the course, therefore, includes assessing the quality and quantity of your participation in the discussion forum.

Some characteristics considered to be part of excellent discussion contributions are outlined below. Your professor will consider these characteristics when assessing the quality and level of your participation.

To help you understand the level of participation required in this course, please refer to the following guidelines.
