What Will You Change?
Okay, you've decided to make some changes in your life. But what changes? This course covers a range of options, from eliminating emotional and behavioral problems to acquiring new positive states and traits. As you choose among the options, it might be useful to recall the serenity prayer, attributed to Johann Christoph Oetinger from the 1760s and adapted later by Reinhold Niebuhr of Alcoholics Anonymous:
- God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
- The Courage to change the things I can; and
- The Wisdom to know the difference.
Hopefully this course will provide you with some assistance in making wise choices about improving your life.
