Team Case Analysis Paper Refinement
Keep working on your team case analysis and discussion. By the end of this module, you should have a refined draft of your analysis paper and PowerPoint based discussion. Be sure to include the ideal and actual states for your assigned company, and strategies to close the gaps. Your focus for this module should be on incorporating a greater level of detail, including evidence, to support your ideal and actual states. Submit all case-related work product for review to the Module 7: Team Case Analysis Refinement drop box. This review will focus primarily on the progress made to date as opposed to an evaluation of content. See your course syllabus for specific due date.
Send an email to the instructor, using the course mail, detailing how the team is functioning. Remember, this team assignment counts as 30% of your grade. It's critical that your team functions effectively and that you get help early on if you're experiencing teaming issues!
Uncle Bob's Breakfast Box Exercise
Note: Since the cases you've been assigned have varying degrees of globalization, we'll complete this exercise so that all teams have a basis for understanding the challenges and opportunities of international expansion.
This exercise is a team activity so you'll need to contact your team members and decide how to meet. Remember, you can use your private team discussion forum or your team room in E-Live!
Uncle Bob's Story...
Uncle Bob has had great success in providing breakfast boxes to corporate meetings/conferences as an alternative to a formal catered breakfast meetings.

He now wishes to leverage his success and expand internationally. Your job, as Uncle Bob's strategic consultant, is to create a strategic assessment of the opportunities for competing in foreign markets. This should include:
- Selecting an appropriate strategy
- Creating a rationale for which countries to target (or avoid)
- Recommending product or packaging revisions
- Address international production and distribution considerations
- Recommending pricing adjustments if necessary
- Recommending appropriate modes of entry
- Advising Uncle Bob on any other considerations you see fit
Deliverables:
- Each team should provide a maximum 3-page strategic assessment that you would present to your customer, Uncle Bob.
- Feel free to be creative, and to make use of charts, diagrams, etc. as appropriate.
- Your work will be graded for its creativity in presenting Uncle Bob with a viable assessment of his strategic options for expanding to foreign markets.
Each team should submit their solution to the Module 7: Bob's Breakfast Box drop box.This activity is worth 40 points. See your course syllabus for specific due date.
