This module is about how people get their news. We’ll look at how digital news delivery is part of a long-term shift from mass media to content designed for niche audiences. We’ll also look at an example of how news is displayed across different platforms.

  • Interpret the consequences of this age-related platform choice for news organizations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between audience loyalty, news quality, and advertising revenue.
  • Analyze platform trends and use that knowledge to set educational goals.
