Lesson Overview

This lesson introduces the capstone activity for the class. We will focus our efforts on using the knowledge and skills studied throughout the semester to analyze a set of facts and offer solutions to resolve human resource management related problems. The final work product is an essay of between 1000 and 1500 words.

Lesson Objectives

Upon successful completion of this lesson, you should be able to

• identify and analyze important human resource management problems affecting employees in the workplace;
• create one or more solutions to help alleviate such problems; and, 
• explain the manner in which a benefit package can support an organization’s strategic objectives.
