The objective of this week's Lesson is to provide a starting point for the semester by gaining a better understanding of the dramatic changes in the workplace, as well as consider how people will need to be self-reliant in terms of their career development.
The readings for this week do not include scholarly research articles.
Instead, they consist of :
- a popular press article
- a chapter from a career management book
- an article from The Harvard Business Review (HBR), which is a terrific source of articles that focus on the human element in the workplace, while often referring to relevant research.
