Needs Assessment Proposal

Background: Later in the course, you will be asked to conduct a needs assessment based on the proposal you submit for this assignment. For the Lesson 11 time frame, you will submit the results of your Needs Assessment Project in a report of 2500 words, create a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the major points of the Report, and conduct a brief presentation to a classmate one-on-one using Elluminate Live technology.

In preparation for the Lesson 11 Assignments described above, prepare a short proposal that includes the following. The proposal should not be more than 2 double-spaced pages (500 words). One important point to keep in mind, you are writing the proposal as if you are the WLP consultant and are presenting the proposal to the client. To assist you, refer to the Guptka text for examples.

Professional organizations such as SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) and AHRD (Academy of Human Resource Development) have conducted research and come up with ethical standards for the profession. These ethical standards serve as guidelines or standards or a compass to guide the WLP professional. Many times the WLP professional may find himself or herself in confidential or sensitive situations; people may divulge confidential information, or the WLP professional might find out sensitive information or news before anyone else in the organization. How the WLP professional maintains confidentiality, understands their role, and calls out unethical situations can build trust and better relationships throughout the organization.
