Fiumicino, or Leonardo da Vinci airport, is the larger of two international airports that serve the city of Rome. Fiumicino lies about 26km (or about 16 miles) south west of Rome and has train and road links to the center of the city.

Ciampino, about 12km (about 7 1/2 miles) to the south east of the city, was the city’s main airport until the opening of Fiumicino in 1960. It is now used primarily by European budget and charter airlines.

First things first – play the video to navigate the Fiumicino airport and get a train ticket to Rome.
